AfroPop! Nation experiences celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the African-Diaspora through music, live African drums, dance, vendors, fashion & art. It's an event that attracts a young, hip & professional/progressive demographic (mostly college educated) that's either well traveled, or interested in culturally immersive events.
The experience can be summed up in just 2 words: "Afro-sensory overload"! Our unique blend of rhythms inspired by the African Diaspora (Afrobeats, Afro-Latino/Tribal House, Soca, DanceHall, and Western "Pop" Music), paired with live African drummers is experience you have to witness live to understand!
AfroPop! Nation constantly reaches out to the African/Latino/Caribbean dance communities to use our platform as a canvas to display their performance art. A random circle may form right in the middle of the dance-floor!
Vendors are a mainstay at our events! Come ready to view great crafts, art & products by local entrepreneurs/retailers in your area! We currently produce AfroPop! experiences in six (6) Major US cities and counting: Charlotte, NC (Homebase), Atlanta, GA, Durham, NC, Chicago, IL & Columbia, SC & Charleston, SC - and we're still growing!
